FREE NINTENDO DS GAMES!!

Well I guess my weapon of choice is Nintendo DS!

Pretty much because I can get any game I want for free.

Yea, you read that right.

If any of you have a DS, and novice media piracy skills... Do a google search for " R4 + Nintendo DS "
It's pretty much a cartridge just like a normal DS game, except it has a micro SD card slot.

You download your games via torrent, like you would music or movies..
and plug the micro SD card into a supplied USB jack, which goes into your computer.
After that it's as easy as dragging and dropping your games, and plugging the micro SD card into it's cartridge.

I'll admit the ROM file unzipping, and trimming phase can be a bit tedious at first, but the ladder is optional.
I still recommend trimming, because games take up less space this way.
Some ROMS are much bigger than others, but I've had up to 36 games on one cartridge at once before.

I just have to giggle to myself when I pass by DS games in stores..
Because you can find an R4 card online for about $60 and that should come with the cartridge,
a 2 gig micro SD, and the corresponding USB jack, AND act now.. and you'll even get the file trimming software!

I don't know the best store link off the top of my head, I've had mine for over a year now.
But it's still a VERY valuable piece of information to any Nintendo DS owner who's a bit computer savvy!

Just don't gloat about it too often, or to the wrong people.. because as always media piracy is ILLEGAL.

I post this knowledge casually, as I remain mostly anonymous here!

There are a few pointers I can give you while hunting for your favorite games..
You might see things like " ( J ) , ( F ) , ( U ) " and such next to game titles.
- These are there for a reason! ( J ) means Japanese Version, I think ( F ) means French,
and of course ( U ) means US, or something else signifying English.. that's what you're probably after.
Other roundabout things you may encounter are lists like " Nintendo DS/Handhelds 1012 - 1205 "
This is pretty much just torrent code for ROM releases that are numbered by release date for quicker browsing.
The higher the number is, the newer the game.

Other than that, just basic torrent skills apply.. Always trust the torrent with the most seeds. Stuff like that.

Amazing... I envy you, lol. your like those kids who have 100 sweet songs on GH because they have the mods, only you have hundreads of game possabilities for the DS. Howd you come across this?

I had an acquaintance who's really into building computers, and car engines..
The kid is a practically a rocket scientist. Somewhere amongst all that knowledge was this.

He told me about it at our friend's wedding a while back,
and I actually took it seriously enough to look into it, and alas truth!

He really just told me about the card.
He recommended the " M3 Simply "
So I started out with that,
But then my mom wanted one,
and it's rival the " R4 " seemed to be more versatile.

So I've had them both, and I'd probably recommend the R4 more.
They are both great little inexpensive devices.
You're supposed to be able to play media on them,
and use quirky little homebrew apps..
But I really just use it for it's main function, being ROMS.

You can even go to certain sites, and download different wallpaper themes for your menu.
