Ok, my brother found this website, where they talk about brain waves, and how they can be minipulated. They say with the right sound, it can aulter the brain waves if listened to enough. They even have a list of sounds they have " prooven " to work...

On the site they give 2 Demo sounds, the others have to be purchased, but theres a list of stories from people who have experienced them, and its rather interesting.

My brother listened to the " Content " sound for about 30 minutes, and said he felt peaceful, and didnt want to leave the bed, did want to take off the head phones after it ended, just felt... content with everything.

He also tried " Alcohol " He said after 20 minutes of the sound he felt like he was on a boat, and his vision started to sway. I also noticed his sence of humor changed quite a bit, he started laughing alot at stupid things like the sound of the IM when he sent messages. He also said things he heard sounded faster.

Other sounds include...Cocaine, Horney, Marajuana, Ectasy, Hand Of God, and more.
Could sound waves give you the experience of being high? even eurphoric?

Has anyone tried or heard of this?

Ps. if any mod can move this to where its supposed to go if not here, that would be apprecieated.

I went to sleep listning to some of them, it didnt do anything really, the constant sound only made me day dream, although the " content " sound did make me a little afraid, like something bad was about to happin. maybe the sounds have different effects on different people?

Probably, depending upon mood geatly. Different times of the day as well your body has different kinds of hormones in the bloodstrem causes different emotions to occur easier than other times. I think you also have to have emotions as well Neutral
